The purpose of this study is to make clear the condition of design control in townhouse. As a result of the survey about the housing alterations in townhouses, we can point out the following things. 1) to supply townhouses with common facilities at the beginning. 2) to sale townhouses with a management agreement and house rules and to explain them to residents conscientiously. 3) to prepare for assistance to do joint improvement of townhouses.
