棟数密度に関する理論的研究

抄録

In this paper, we prove that building density (the number of buildings per area) is one of the most important indicators for showing environmental conditions of urban areas, as well as the building coverage. Using this indicator, we can calculate the "average" distance between neighboring buildings and also can estimate the total area of small useless vacant lots in an urban area.
