THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO DEVELOP THE OPERATIONAL ESTIMATION MODELS OF TRAFFIC FLOWS FOR RESIDENTIAL AREAS. THIS PAPER PROPOSES THE ESTIMATION MODELS OF VEHICLES',BICYCLES' AND PEDESTRIANS' LINK FLOWS IN RESIDENTIAL STREET NETWORK. BY USING THE DEMAND ANALYSIS METHOD CONSIDERING OBSERVED LINK FLOWS AND REGRESSION MODELS OF LINK FLOWS, THE MODELS ARE DEVELOPED BY VALUES OF TRIP POTENTIAL; WHICH ARE TRAFFIC FLOWS ESTIMATED BY THE ASUMPTION OF OD PATTERN AND ROUTE CHOICE OF EACH TRIP OBJECT, AND LINK CHARACTERISTICS. THE MODELS ARE APPLIED TO A DISTICT OF OSAKA CITY, AND ARE FOUND TO HAVE APPROPRIATE ACCURACY.
