The purpose of this paper is to propose the policy of facilities and management of allotment gardens in local urban area, based not only on the comparison of the state between local cities and metropolitan area, but also on inspection of some allotment gardens. In local urban area most of the allotment gardens are set up at the suburban area, whereas in metropolitan area most of them are set up at downtown area. In metropolitan areas even the simplest type of garden is expensive, whereas in local areas there are some gardens of enriched type whose fee is not very expensive. Finally, the relationship between the evaluation of allotment garden and facility and management was discussed. In local urban area the managers of allotment garden must have eagerness, and users should communicate with managers, guides and other users.
