抄録
This study aims to clarify urban environmental problems accompanied with rapid economic development, in Hangzhou City on coastal area of China, based on three aspect's analysis of environmental feature, environmental policy system and resident's awareness. The conclusions are as follows: 1) Urban environmental problems are becoming more complex than before, so now traffic, industry and building activity are being main pollution sources that affect whole area of the city. 2) Though local environmental policy system is being set up by each local government, there are still less sufficiency in correspondence with activities of traffic, urban development, and resident living throughout the city. Finally, 3) the study points out the issues of urban environmental administration from the viewpoint of government and resident' roles.
