This study aims to analyze and examine the efficiency and facing problems of approaches on contaminated land in redeveloping brownfield site by local governments. Firstly, the questionnaire to local governments found the Brownfield Exchanging Type and Generally Preventing Type to be the most applicable to take action on Brownfield sites. From this study, facing problems of the local governments is found to be paying for the cost and allocating responsibilities.
