Securing the public space on both quality and quantity is expected, but it is difficult to be prepared by the public sector because of the burden of maintenance management and the efficiency of size on the center of a city. The purpose of this study is making clear the role that is fulfilled to urban space. Therefore, we researched the constitution of the public space and the situation of stay and action of the people there. As a result, we found the actual condition of the public space opened by private enterprises and we clarified that the rule for using the public space and the balance between the management and the accessibility are needed.
