For efficient execution of Micro-area transportation planning project, the right comprehension for resident's participation consciousness is very significant. In this paper we divided the project process into two or three stages and analyzed, in each stages, the resident's participation such as request of circular information, participation to meetings and more active participation to the project overall. We carried out the questionnaire survey including two imaginary projects of the Micro-area transportation planning. We analyzed resident's participation consciousness by using the survey data and clarified the structure of cause and effect on the relationship of the individual attributes, the aspects of residential area and the participation consciousness to the projects by using the Covariance Structure Analysis.
