We investigate the transfer of right of land ownership around the Mt. Daimonji, where "Okuribi" fire event is performed even year, from the Taisho era to the present time. It makes clear that the condition of land ownership between the Taisho era and the present time is greatly changed. In the Taisho era, 47 people shared the land ownership in the same balance. They also had performed "Okuribi" fire event as a memorial service for their ancestors. On the contrary, in the present time the balance of land ownership is spoiled. Parts of it are flowed out the other districts. It is pointed out that the condition of present land ownership causes some problems to continue "Okuribi" fire event smoothly and makes change of the purpose of it.
