土木史的再評価に基づいた地域計画に関する基礎的研究

It is becoming very important to establish the process of regional planning system to construct unique facilities such as bridges, buildings and rosds which reflect local history and culture. The purpose of this paper is to show how we should make and carry out a regional planning which is full of local color. Tsukumo Bridge and Shibahara Watercourse are chosen for this research. Both of these facilities were constructed more than 400 years ago and style and location of them have changed with the times. We investigated the history of these two facilities. We also carried out some questionnaires to examine and analyze the opinoin of supervisor and the consciousness of citizen. Furthermore we investigate the characteristics of unique techniques of Fukui area from the standpoint of civil engineering. We will point out some problems when we create new facilities.
