Since the NATM introduced into Japan, nearly 30 years have passed, and it diffused overall fields of the tunnelling in Japan. And detail technics of its execution progressed greatly, but basical flexibility of its, possibility of its has not been developed sufficiently. We try to make clear its character and expand its flexibility and applicable fields. Here shows some examples to develop the new possibilities of the NATM.
