The object of this study is to consider the process and interpretation of the results of geoscientific survey regarding construction of a tunnel under a river. It is necessary to understand faults, fractions, weathering and hydrological conditions, particularly intrusion of river water for excavating tunnel safely and efficiently. The survey consisted of several methods including geophysical survey and drilling. A series of such surveys carried out prior to excavation enabled appropriate decisions regarding the construction through zones in need of particular care.
