Weak ferromagnetism has been found in (DBr-DCNQI)₂Cu below the Néel temperature, T_N=16, K. The remanent magnetization does not decrease with lowering temperature, which is in contrast to that observed for (DMe-DCNQI-d₈)₂Cu. The results suggest that the weak ferromagnetism is a universal feature of the antiferromagnetically ordered state of the DCNQI₂Cu system.
