Resonant Photoemission of Core Electron on RCu₆

Detailed spectra of core electron (5s, 5p) resonant photoemission on RCu₆ (R=La, Ce, Pr) have been measured. It is found that the excitation spectra of the Auger electron yield well explains the high energy region of the 4d-4f giant resonance band. A double peak structure, corresponding to the multiplet, of excitation spectrum of the valence band is observed on PrCu₆.
