We have formulated the Bethe-like approximation for the one-dimensional S=1⁄2 transverse Ising model in the ground state, and estimated the critical phenomenon of its correlation function using the coherent-anomaly method (CAM). We have calculated up to the 21-spin approximations, and obtained g_c^*=0.5000±0.0006, ν=1.01±0.01 and ην=0.26±0.01.
