This study aimed to examine for physical education improvement in Japan from research perspective on Sport Education model and Daryl Siedentop’s physical education thought.
The date used in this study were collected from the following ; the Complete Guide to Sport Education –2nd edition (2011) ; the Introduction to Physical education, fitness, and sport -8th edition (2012) ; Developing teaching skills in physical education -4th edition ( 2002) ; Wallhead, T., O'sullivan, M. (2005), Hastie, P.,Ojeda, D.,Luquin, A. (2011), Metzler, M. (2011), Dyson, B., Griffin, L., Hastie, P. (2004) of research on Sport Education model.
The results showed that promoting effective physical education improvement were to try 3 points.One instructional model was 1) to continue update in response to empirical research outcome and social change, 2) to cooperate with codependent relationship that make a choice variety instructional model in response to children contexts, 3)to design the teacher education research or program on the application of the instructional model.
