Abstract
Multi stage boosting system for high pressure boosting and high amount EGR is a key technology for simultaneous reduction of exhaust emission and fuel consumption on diesel engine. Therefor innovative and next-generation multi cylinder diesel engine with sequential 3stage boosting system was developed and the performance evaluation was conducted in this study. Additionally, Camless system combined with high expansion ratio were evaluated for further reduction of fuel consumption.
