In order to utilize the biological characteristics of fibrin for improving the blood compatibility and the tissue compatibility of vascular prostheses, the ideal conditions in fibrin conversion and the suitable method of coating the prostheses with fibrin were investigated. Fibrin net work suggested good blood compatibility.
