Abstract
When laser beam radiates the microairbubble in the cell, the change of the intensity of laser beam is observed.
The hematocrit value is kept 20, 25 and 30 percents. In case of the size of microairbubble is about 50 to 200μm in diameter, the upward spike wave is observed in the transient recording.
When the diameter of microairbubble is increased into 200 to 250μm, the three different spike waves are observed, namely upward-downward, upward-downward-upward and downward-upward. In the case of the microairbubble above 250μm in diameter, the spike wave is downward. Thus, the microairbubble in the diluted blood in the extracorporeal circuit is confirmed to be identified by the laser detector.
