Abstract
It is important problem to minimize the warm ischemia after cardiac arrest, because it is not yet permitted to extirpate the kidneys on the base of brain death in Japan. One of the good meithods is thought the selective kidney irrigation using a 3-lumen, double-balloon catheter (3L-DBC). In this experiment, we investigated 4-lumen, and 5-lumen, DBC5 in order to measure the pressure by a transducer and temperature with a thermosensor between the balloons through the lumens added to the 3L-DBC. It's possible to evaluate the efficiency of the cooling machine in the recirculation method using 5L-DBC. The degree of hemolysis becomes great as time elapses in the recirculation method using diluted blood.
