Abstract
The new immunoadsorbents which adsorb the rheumatoid factor and immune complexes in plasma were developed in our laboratry. Two immunoadsorbents consist of the aggregated human-γ-globulin or tryptophan immobilized on sepharose 4B, respectively. The intermoleculer interaction between the immunoadsorbents and immune complexes was investigated by the spectrophotometric means, and it was suggested that the hydrophobic interaction is the major action mechanism between adsorbent and immune complexes.
