A new pulsatile pump was developed and reported last year. This time, the valves of the device was removed to use the device as a assist device for pulse making. The new device was connected to the arterial line 50cm apart from the aortic wall. Clinical experience was performed on 15 patients and the device was proven to work as the commercially available device.
