Several triploid clones (2n=33) of Hemerocallis fulva var. disticha were found in Japan. They were morphologically indistinguishable from the diploid clones of the variety. It was confirmed that H. fulva var. sempervireles was triploid. These newly reported triploid clones and the other triploids including the clones from Thailand and Tonga were investigated morphologically and cytologically.
