Recently, we have constructed the skew bridges on a consideration that the bridge is one part of a highway, and so the analysis for skew grillage beams is rising in importance The numerical calculations are generally complex, and the solutions require a long time to be reached.
In this paper, the author describes the experimental analysis for skew grillage beams by using the similarity between the electrical and the mechanical properties. He assumes that the cross beams are at the right angle to the main beams, and that the members of girder are rigidly connected or pin connected at the panel points. The experimental results are compared with the numerical solutions.
