In this paper the plastic deformations of cantilevers under the “blast type” loading are discussed. The deformations are divided into four classes according to the position or to the intensity of the load.
The equations of motion to the deformations of each the four classes and the solutions of these equations are introduced under the assumption of negligible elastic strain and of “plas ticrigid” behaviour.
As the result of analysis, the approximate final permanent deformations are obtained. Compared with the result in the cases of simple or built-in beams, different one is obtained to the cantilevers and it is interesting to notice that the deformations of the four classes are obtained.
