Abstract
In order to grasp more accurately the changes in traffic characteristics, the panel survey to conduct research at more than one for the same individual is useful. In this study, we examined the impact and continuity of the survey to target the National Person Trip Survey, if it was changed the panel survey. We were able to grasp more accurately the secular change of traffic characteristics and attitudes and customs through the use of panel data. In addition, we showed he number of survey items will not affect the recovery rate and intention to participate in the second survey and name and address information can be collected from a sample of about 90% if the intention participation has been confirmed.
