Abstract
Echizen railway, which is positioned as the "social infrastructure for living", results in various benefits to the region, and is related to policies / measures of various sectors of local government along the railway line. In addition, Echizen Railway is a capital to support the implementation of the measures. In this study, we aim to clarify the actual situation about the relevance of "Echizen Railway" and "the measures of various sectors of local governments" through awareness survey of local governments. The results are as follows.
Many administrative persons in charge recognize that there is no description of the Echizen Railway in the measures being promoted, but Echizen railway is indispensable to the promotion of measures for each sector. The recognitions about existential values of Echizen railway spread through many sectors, we confirmed that Echizen railway has is contribute to public interest as “social infrastructure for living”.
