Abstract

It would be essential to deploy the charging facilities sufficiently for the widespread of electric vehicles and it is also important to evaluate the deployment plan comprehensively. In our study, we propose the static traffic network equilibrium model with electric vehicles aiming at evaluating the deployment plans of charging facilities considering traffic congestion and users vehicle ownership. The proposed model considers the changes in demand for each vehicle and traffic congestion of charging facilities caused by them. Through numerical studies, we confirmed that the model system can be solved as an equivalent nonlinear optimization problem and the relevant numerical algorithm. By showing numerical examples of the proposed model, we examined the basic properties of the model.
