For the sustainable society, urban redevelopment is required to promote the urban vision of Compact City and improve QOL. This urban vision is supported by infrastructure development of slow mobility, like a walk. Moreover, walking environments are expected to play new roles for mitigating damages of natural and epidemic disasters. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship of QOL and walkability considering urban disaster resilience. First, it started with sorting out the main components of walkability, QOL, and natural and epidemic disasters. Next, the relationships were analyzed with text mining using data of academic literature. Finally, a questionnaire survey was carried out, and the relationships were analyzed with structural equation modeling.
