Although input-output tables can provide a detailed picture of the economic structure of countries or regions, it is unclear how transactions involving the movement of people are treated. The purpose of this thesis is to propose a consistent way of handling passengers transport, referring to how to create physical distribution date. We first describes the structure and concept of the Input-Output table, and explains how transportation activities are accounted for in the Input-Output table in terms of two price evaluation methods. Next, we focuses on the details of freight transportation among the transportation activities and explains how freight transportation transactions are accounted for in the transport sector of the Input-Output table. Moreover, we focus on passengers transport, which have not been explicitly treated in the Input-Output table. We propose a consistent method of treating passengers transport with the domestic passenger fare table we created . The Domestic Passenger Fare Table provides total passenger fare each industries pay to purchase the service.
