Although personal mobility is expected to mainstream in the future, no studies have explored the CO2 emissions of such means of transport. This study estimated the CO2 equivalent basis of Micro Electric Vehicles (MEV), Electric Kickboards, and Electric Bicycles based on the Life Cycle Assessment method (LCA) to address the gap in the literature. Furthermore, we constructed a method for assessing changes in CO2 emissions when alternating the transport modes accompanied with the last mile personal mobility. It was found that changing from a private car to public transportation (railway or bus) plus personal mobility could only reduce CO2 emissions if fewer than two passengers are in a private vehicle.
