A STUDY ON SUPPLY CHARACTERISTICS AND SUSTAINABLITY OF TRANSPORTATION PASSENGER SERVICE WITH PRIVATE AUTO(PARATRANSIT)

Abstract

 With the increase in the number of elderly people who gives up driving with private auto, it is expected that the use of passenger transport with private auto, which supplements conventional public transportation, and support for outings such as shopping and outings through the cooperation of volunteer organizations and local communities will become increasingly important in further situation. passenger transport with private auto have the role of mobility for such persons, though having challenges on the aspect of sustainability on operation on the aspect of human resource and operational cost. The purpose of this study, the authors examine relationship between business scale, income and expenditure, sustainability of NPO providing passenger transport with private auto.
