Abstract
Recently, shallow place as habitat is constructed by use of dredged soil. In this case, dredged soil is often added modified material in order to increase strength and workability. This modified soil is required to be safe and applicable for habitat. Hence, this study aims to use modified soil, that made of dredged soil and paper sludge ash, as vegetation soil of waterside. By plant test under fresh water condition and seawater condition, strength and pH of modified soil and number and hight of the test plants has been checked. As a result, modified soil has shown applicability as vegetation soil of waterside.
