Abstract
This paper presents the result that method for evaluation of tire-pavement rolling resistance was studied with vehicle mounted continuous friction tester, and the relationship between tire-pavement rolling resistance coefficient and fuel consumption rate was studied. The investigation was conduct at Low Rolling Resistance Asphalt Pavement trial section into the test course of National Institute for Land and Infrastructure Management. The investigation item is Cornering-force and Side-force correction method, and tire temperature and vehicle speed correction method from measurement data. Additional, the relationship between tire-pavement rolling resistance coefficient and fuel consumption rate was studied. The correlation between tire/road rolling resistance coefficient and fuel consumption rate were good.
