Abstract
The objective of this study is to develop the orgin-distnation connectivity evaluation system based on train status to examine how best to resume train operation in big earthquake using Geographic Information System(GIS). Characteristics of this system are able to determine the choice set in consideration of alternative routes on the railway networks and to calculate arrival rate to destination using OD pattern by trip purpose. In this study, behavior of railway users in the Great East Japan Earthquake is visually simulated to confirm the utility of the propsed system.
