Abstract
 Recently, flood disasters due to the climate change can be seen in all over the world. The some of the devastating disaseters often take away the human lives and properties. Also, when medical facilities supporting injured persons are damaged by the flood, the residents lost something to hope for in life even if the human lives have been saved fortunately.
 In this paper, the investigations on flooding risk have been conducted by focusing on medical facilities in lowland of Japan. Also, the plans for preparation against flood have been discussed.
