This study investigated the influence of product categories and usage situations on the dynamic perception and product attitude of layout design, and identified eight types of layouts as dynamic perceptions based on the dynamic conditions of orientation, arrangement, and regularity. The results show a positive correlation between dynamic perception and product attitude, with higher dynamic perception leading to higher product attitude. While most product categories are suitable for dynamic design, some product categories are static in nature and require a less dynamic layout design. As the situations in which products are used vary, consumer preferences influence whether a product is suitable for dynamic design. A regular layout provides a fluid viewing experience to consumers and gives images a unified and coherent appearance, which enhances the dynamics and product attitude. Contrarily, irregular visual friction affects the inconsistency between products, creating frictional resistance and reducing dynamic perception and product attitude.
