On 15th June 2015, the Miyagi Prefectural Library opened "Great East Japan Earthquake Archive Miyagi" which is a digital archive of the earthquake disaster in cooperation with all the municipalities in the prefecture. Archive Miyagi is responsible for the general affairs related to the operation of the site by the Miyagi Prefecture Library, and also cooperative local governments that cooperate with the administration, such as general affairs, disaster prevention, public relations, lifelong learning, etc. It consists of affiliation. In this paper, we describe the specific advantages of what the prefecture did, and the problems that occurred in the management situation and the change of the environment from the construction to the present, with a part of the architectural background and method of the Archive Miyagi.
