EuropeanaTech is a meeting for engineers and developers from cultural institutions, research institutes, companies etc. participating in Europeana to share their latest development and achievement. At this year's meeting in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the main topics were IIIF, Wikidata, and AI (artificial intelligence). Several presentations on transcription and OCR for manuscripts were also seen.
