Abstract

3D scanning for human whole-body without having missing parts is difficult due to lack of information of covered regions such as underarms. In this paper, we propose a method to capture missing-less in whole-body shape data with sub-millimeter resolution. We also propose a process that converts 3D digitized data into polygon model which can be deformed its posture based on captured motion data. We expect that proposed methods will push forward the limits of digital archive world for intangible cultural properties such as dances, sports, and festivals.
