In recent years, advances in digital archiving technology have led to the widespread creation and publication of virtual museums. In this study, we quantitatively investigated the differences in impressions given to users by different methods of creating virtual museums. A product exhibition room owned by EBARA Corporation was created as a virtual museum using a 360-degree panoramic camera and the Matterport system. Using the museum, a questionnaire survey consisting of two elements, system operability and psychological factors were conducted to the users who experienced the museum. The results showed that both systems were superior in operability, and the Matterport virtual museum was superior to the 360-degree panoramic virtual museum in all psychological factors.
