The ukiyo-e series "The Sixty-nine Stations of the Kisokaido" depicts landscapes along the Nakasendo route from Tokyo to Kyoto. Both Japanese and international visitors explore these sites inspired by the ukiyo-e. Trading of ukiyo-e collections, exhibitions, events, and merchandise sales are actively conducted. This report details a regional revitalization project and marketization scheme focused on leveraging Blockchain Digital Archives (BDA) to preserve ukiyo-e depicting the Nakasendo, alongside contemporary landscapes and various relevant information. By managing these assets digitally for diverse applications, the initiative aims to stimulate the circulation of data, the exchange of people and culture, and economic activity, ultimately expanding the market within the involved regions.
