Department of Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University received a grant in aid of Program for Promoting High-Quality University Education in 2008. The adopted program includes three sub-programs, which equipped students with abundant knowledge and deep understanding of advanced technology to dissipate the dissociation between technology and university education. Advanced visual learning tools in the programs established safe and understandable chemical experiment education. The programs were effective in diminishing the dispersion of students’ ability and improving students’ technique of the advanced chemical analysis as well as the fundamental experiment.
