There are growing concerns and demands for cultivating a philosophical and ethical mind in the age of evolving technology represented by AI. Making a moral and ethical decision in utilizing technology requires the mind that has clear insight into the relationship between humans and technology. Thus, it is essential to encourage students to learn from themselves by practicing reflections on how they behave with technology - subconsciously. For this purpose, we have developed a learning program that allows students to broaden their perspectives on the innate human ability that works subconsciously. Empatheme method was applied to the program. It creates data such as a sequence of the practitioner’s bodily movement units. In this program, the students learned that they experienced a transition process from a conscious state of mind to a subconscious one even in 1 week. With the practitioners’ data collected from Empatheme Method and the soul-searching self-assessment, this program’s effectiveness is clearly shown.
