In the Society 5.0, a huge amount of professional workforce is needed. These talented persons include not only skilled digital engineers but also “Strategic Management” digital professionals (SMDP), who have both business management and technical knowledge and skills. In order to foster such SMDP, the Global Citizen College (GCC) of Tokai University launched a new curriculum by collaborating among the school of information and telecommunication engineering, business management, etc. that compose GCC. This paper discusses the challenges found in operating the new curriculum.
