With the financial support of “Plus-DX”, a project subsidized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Kanazawa Institute of Technology has been analyzing big educational data and supporting students’ learning using the analyzed results. In the project, databases in the institute were integrated for analysis at first, and data analysis of the end (enrollment) to end (graduation) were conducted. After the analysis, the results were also provided by Business Intelligence tools for all teaching staffs. In addition, machine learning has been used to predict the students who will drop out soon and to develop a feedback system for such students. This paper describes the results of the analyses conducted in this initiative and explains the specific study support based on these analyses.
