We developed a web application for smartphones to measure own acceleration and attempted to put it into practice in mechanics experiments for educational purposes. The feature of our application is that it simultaneously measures acceleration and Euler angles and converts acceleration in a coordinate system fixed to the smartphone to acceleration in a stationary coordinate system. This makes it possible to facilitate the measurement of 2D and 3D motion.
