The author of this article has already published six articles that discuss educational perspectives on student's course evaluation to mechanical design. From 1995 to 1997, the course evaluation has been implemented five times at Science University of Tokyo where the author serves as a facul-ty member. The questionnaire used for the course evaluation was structured in a five-scaling score and the five course evaluations were given to different groups of students. The average score of these surveys was 3.58. In 1998, the author has changed its text and course contents. Comparing its resulting score of course evaluation with the previous ones, this study found that its average score decreased approximately 0.5 than before. This article investigated why such a decrease has been occurred. As a result, the author concluded that the new course materials increased student's work hard.
