The universities and companies which are introducing internship are steadily increasing in number. In this paper, I analyzed the educational significance and future problems of internship focusing on a questionnaire for students participating in internship programs. As a result, it became clear that although these students were generally fairly satisfied, as regards educational significance, internship was somewhat less meaningful when compared to taking a job or developing professional values. The actual training period was of the order of 10 days, however the period should have been rather longer in the engineering faculty, and more practical training was desired. Therefore, it appears that various internships as regards training periods and detail should be considered according to a student's needs and objectives.
