Abstract
This article discusses some methods for a systematization of cadastral information as a knowledge infrastructure to promote effective use of them from two approaches. One approach is ontological engineering and the other is Linked Open Data (LOD). Ontologies clarify concepts that appear in the target domains and provide methods to systematize knowledge in a format which are readable for both of human and machine. Therefore, they contribute to improvement of interoperability of cadastral information. On the other hand, Linked Open Data is a technique to publish data on the Web. It provides a method for linking data each other and aims to create a new value through the linked data. To link cadastral information with other open data could promote useful use of them.
